BlackBook lets you store information (text, phone numbers, e-mail addresses, graphics, files, etc.) in a free form way. The application has an interface to let you manage the information and also lets you perform simple searches on your information. There is also a method of getting and adding information through the use of the services menu.
In any text based program, you can select a word and have BlackBook give you the information that you want. If there are more than one occurrence of what you selected in BlackBook, you can then cycle through all of the items without ever having to leave your application!
Installing BlackBook
Just put the BlackBook application into either your home Apps directory (~/Apps) or if you have enough privileges, put it in /LocalApps. If you don't put it in one of these two places, you won't have access to the Services.
After installing BlackBook, anytime you have text selected you should have a BlackBook menu item under the Services menu.

BlackBook 1.0
BlackBook was generating an "Invalid Stream" error in the console. A file was trying to be opened when it didn't exist.
There was a problem with the .nib file that caused BlackBook to crash when launched to provide a Service.
